  1. Edmonton, Alberta, Canada is missing. Population 840,000 (1.1 million metro), and Capital of Alberta is missing.

  2. You are missing a lot of cities in the United States on this list. For example: Fresno, Riverside, Corpus Christi, Pittsburgh, Anchorage, Tampa, Santa Ana, and many many more. Also, the flag is wrong for Spokane WA and Richmond VA. This is a great idea and I love what you have done on this site.

    1. You forgot to look at the list a little harder because most of those that you pointed out happened to be on the list

  3. What’s Auckland doing so far down the list? Over a million gumboot wearing kiwis in that city….”the Polynesian capital of the world”.

    Great list though. Good effort.

  4. Why you didn’t include the English speaking cities in the former colonial States such as Lagos, Johannesburg, Nairobi,
New Delhi? Are those not English speaking cities? Otherwise you should have said the biggest English speaking European cities. We live in a diverse world. Pissed off!

    1. This isnt just about speaking English but manifesting strong Anglo traits in culture as well.

The main countries that reflect this are UK ,Australia , US, Canada and NZ with isolated pockets in South Africa.

Indian cities such as New Dehli etc may have some colonial ties to England but they remain irrevocably Asian in diet, pyschology, customs and dare I say it SMELL. ☺(walk out the front door of any Indian airport and the last thing you are thinking is “hmmm…smells like England” 😉

  5. Montreal should not be added to this list. Montreal is a Francophone city. Even though there is a sizeable English-speaking minority within the city, the vast majority of Montrealers consider themselves to be French-speaking even though many do speak pretty good English.
